Domaine Chanzy is a leading producer in the heart of Burgundy. The winery is located in the village of Bouzeron, home of the Burgundian variety Aligoté, and with important holdings throughout the region. Domaine Chanzy owns 80 hectares of vineyards and 30 Appellations of which 11 are Grand Cru and 13 Premier Cru in Côte Chalonnaise, Côte de Beaune and Côte d´Or. The winery produces sustainable wines without the use of herbicides and pesticides. They are in the process of becoming a certified organic producer in Burgundy.
Domaine Chanzy was established by Daniel Chanzy in 1974. He is the 6th generation of a highly respected and recognized winemaker family in Burgundy. Their history dates back to 1830 and cellar is from 1th century, still in use for vinification and storage.
The Burgundy wines are of very high quality and have been given an array of international awards, and yet still at a price level that is affordable to many consumers.
